Before LEAD: Before joining LEAD, I was a student in Portland, Oregon getting my teaching degree in mathematics.
Why I'm at LEAD: I chose LEAD because it offers me the opportunity to work with students in a unique and supportive environment. I am excited to be a part of a team whose goals mirror mine - doing what is best for all students. I believe LEAD gives students the chance to develop skills needed to become life long learners as they grow both academically and as individuals.
What I'm most looking forward to: For starters, I am most looking forward meeting my students and building relationships with them. Also, I am really looking forward to collaborating with my colleagues and getting to know the LEAD community better. I'm excited for the many new adventures to come!
About me: I've spent my entire life on the west coast and now... Kansas City, here I come! I grew up in Arizona and spent most of my time between San Diego and Portland. I've spent the last nine years playing competitive volleyball. My hobbies are all things sports, reading, working out, traveling, going to the beach, and of course, math! I enjoy being outside, hanging out with friends, and cheering on my favorite teams. I recently moved here with my boyfriend and we can't wait to explore this wonderful city! Go Chiefs!
