Principal: Dr. Chris Early
Dr. Chris Early earned his doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Missouri in 2019 and his master's degree in Secondary Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University in 2013. Before that, he was a National Board-certified high school ELA and gifted teacher with 15 years of experience in the classroom. This will be his 26th year overall in education.
Dr. Early has been with the Park Hill School District since 2018 where he started at Plaza as an assistant principal before moving to Congress to be the head principal there from 2019 to 2022. He was motivated to join LEAD due to his years of experience at the high school level and because of his passion for project-based learning, which was the cornerstone of his gifted classroom.
Dr. Early and his wife, Tina, have three children and one grandchild. He loves spending as much time as he can with his family. He also loves reading, movies, and he is a certified Kansas City Chiefs fanatic.
Dr. Early feels excited and blessed to be with the amazing staff at LEAD Innovation Studio, its wonderful students, and the community that surrounds it.
